SAP and Samsung are reported to be joining forces to make mobile devices running Google's Android operating system safer to use in the corporate environment.

ZTE Mimosa X – powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 chip by NVIDIA, it is an Android mid-range device tailored for the mainstream market. What is interesting about the ZTE Mimosa X is that it uses an NVIDIA Icera 450 baseband modem, which resides alongside a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip. This is actually the first time we see Icera hardware in a smartphone since the company was acquired by NVIDIA back in mid-2011. The Icera 450 is capable of reaching 21Mbps peak download speeds and features IceClear interference cancellation technology that promises more reliable data transmission. Going further down its specs sheet, the ZTE Mimosa X packs a 4.3-inch display with qHD resolution. There is a 5-megapixel main camera on its back, a front-facing shooter for video chats, and the 4 gigabytes of on-board storage can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 32GB. We also see support for Dolby sound, DLNA, dual microphones, and a built-in gyroscope. In terms of software, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich comes out of the box.Photos:

Panasonic ELUGA is the first phone from the manufacturer to mark its return to the European market. Derived from the phrase "elegant user-oriented gateway", it is certainly bound to turn some heads with a thin aluminum frame and IP57-certified body, meaning impermeable to dust, as well as immersible in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Just 0.3 inches (7.8mm) and 3.63oz (103g), it is one of the slimmest and lightest Android handsets out there of this screen size. Panasonic boasts that the BELUGA comprises of 66% screen and has one of the largest screen-to-body ratios on the market, thanks to the almost nonexistent screen side bezel, and the compact ergonomic shape. It sports a 4.3" qHD display, 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 8GB of memory, HSPA+ 4G radio plus NFC chip, and an 8MP camera.Photos:

The LG Optimus L7 is the best money can buy in the L series - a combination of 4.3-inch display and ICS. There are no details about the hardware, but dual-core is the least we expect from it.Photos:

GIGABYTE GSmart G1355 is another affordable Android device that combines dual-SIM functionality with a huge 4.3-inch screen. Now, getting the price tag to affordable, though, still required compromises and the biggest compromise in the GSmart G1355 is its Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset with Adreno 200 graphics, the processor clocked at 800MHz and 512MB of RAM.
